QiFlow, a hybrid exercise program, interweaves the most powerful and effective elements of TaiChi, Qi Gong and breathwork into one seasonal flow. Carefully curated to align with the four main seasons and one transitional season, the exercises incorporate the ancient Chinese theory of the Five Elements. Each seasonal QiFlow is designed to help unblock energy stagnation while opening up the internal energy pathways.
The sequences will help awaken sensitivities to your own energy flow and will promote balance of the mind, body and spirit. The class will activate deep healing specific to your needs as you learn to control the seasonally aligned flow of energy.
QiFlow courses are offered 5 times per year, seasonally aligned with the elements of the Five Element Theory of Chinese Medicine. Leda teaches the virtual classes LIVE for those interested in interacting with Leda, and also offers the option for participants to access the recording of the classes for the duration of the course.

Winter is the time for reflection and our energies naturally flow inward. This period is associated with the Water Element and the energy system of the kidneys.
The exercises in this flow combine Qi Gong movements that help promote energy flow in the kidney system and help cultivate the feelings of gratitude and calm.
Spring is the time for renewal and growth. It is a period that is associated to the Wood Element and the energy system of the liver.
The exercises in the springtime flow promote regeneration by releasing tension blocked in ligaments and tendons. It is a perfect time to release blockages and renew our life energy.
Summer is the time for expansion. This period is associated with the Fire Element and the energy system of the heart. The light of the radiant sun is most vibrant and the natural world is at its peak of growth.
To harness and align with this incredible energy, the summer flow incorporates exercises to uplift, energize and offers a deep connection to the natural world.
Because heat and fire are associated with summer, the exercises are designed to cool and calm the heart energy, mindfully balancing the body’s need to over-expend.
Fall is the time to let go and release all that is no longer needed. An inward energetic shift begins. This season is associated with the Metal Element.
The series of exercises in the fall flow are formulated to strengthen and nourish the lung energy system and counters the emotions of grief and sadness while cultivating the energy of courage.
By developing an awareness of your alignment with nature, you will begin to appreciate your own pull inward toward self-reflection, learn to shed the unnecessary and cultivate your path forward by strengthening what lies within.
In the ancient Five Element Theory of Chinese medicine, there is a short window of time when the vibrant energies of spring/summer transition into the more introspective energies of the fall/winter.
This special transitional period is represented by the Earth Element, which is one of balance, harmony and nourishment.
In this flow, the Qi Gong exercises incorporate the spleen energy system, and grounding earth energy in order to help us stay in harmony with nature’s rhythm.
