TaiChi is an internal style of Chinese Martial Arts that is well known for the benefits it provides. The exercises of taichi help promote balance and harmony of the mind, body and spirit through its calm and peaceful movements.
There are many styles in TaiChi, and many "forms" which are routines that are taught world wide. To provide students with the most benefit taichi has to offer without having to spend 10 years to attain it, Leda teaches short and effective taichi forms that will suit the modern day students lifestyle.
Students will learn the basics of taichi by learning this short 7 movement routine. The fundamental characteristics of learning how to cultivate calm in mind and body through movement breath will be emphasized.
Once students have learned the basics of Tai Chi then this next level 12 movement routine will be taught, along with coordinating exercises which help promote, circulation and balance.
After Completing the first two levels, students will introduced to intermediate characteristics of learning how to focus energy and intention, while maintaining the calm learned in the first two levels will be taught.
